Description
The Morningstar SunGuard SG-4 provides compact PWM solar charging for a 12V battery system, with a continuous 4.5A rating and a 30V maximum solar input.
Its epoxy-encapsulated solid-state design and outdoor-rated wire leads suit small solar installations. Temperature compensation adjusts the charging setpoint as ambient conditions change. The controller prevents battery discharge back through the panel at night.
This model has no load output. Connect and protect system loads separately, following the manufacturer instructions.
