PS-MPPT-25M — Model details
Description
Choose the Morningstar ProStar MPPT controller with built-in meter that suits your 12V or 24V off-grid battery system. Both models combine TrakStar maximum power point tracking, programmable charging and load control in a fanless enclosure.
- PS-MPPT-25M: up to 25A battery charging and a 25A load output.
- PS-MPPT-40M: up to 40A battery charging and a 30A load output.
- Both models accept up to 120V PV open-circuit voltage; array design must account for cold-weather voltage.
- Built-in meter for viewing system information and adjusting settings.
- Temperature-compensated charging, data logging and configurable lighting control.
Lead-acid battery profiles and custom charging settings are supported. Lithium and other battery types require appropriate custom programming and any battery-management protections required by the battery manufacturer. Network monitoring requires the applicable optional communications accessories.
