The Victron SmartShunt 300A IP65 is an intelligent, all-in-one battery monitor designed to provide detailed battery insights without the need for a built-in display. Instead, your phone acts as the display, with the SmartShunt connecting via Bluetooth to the VictronConnect app on your phone or tablet. Through the app, you can conveniently monitor key battery parameters such as state of charge, time remaining, and historical data.
The IP65 version is specifically built for tougher environments, offering enhanced protection against dust and water, making it suitable for outdoor or rugged installations.
Alternatively, the SmartShunt can be connected to and read by a GX device using a VE.Direct cable. It serves as a practical alternative to a BMV battery monitor, especially in systems where reduced wiring and less clutter are desired.
The SmartShunt is equipped with Bluetooth, a VE.Direct port, and an auxiliary connection that can be used for monitoring a second battery, midpoint voltage, or a temperature sensor, adding flexibility to a wide range of system configurations.
