The LuxPower WLAN Dongle is a specialized communication module designed for robust, long-range data logging between LuxPower inverters and the LuxCloud monitoring platform. Unlike standard Wi-Fi dongles that rely on residential wireless signals, the WLAN version is built for high-stability environments and features an integrated RJ45 port for a direct, wired ethernet connection.
Interface: HDMI (for inverter connection) + RJ45 (for LAN cable).
Protection Grade: IP65 rated, making it resistant to dust and water ingress—ideal for outdoor or harsh industrial installations.
Transmission Rate: Maximum transmission rate of 72Mbps.
Indicator Lights: Features three LED status indicators (typically labeled INV, IP, and STATUS) to provide real-time diagnostics of the inverter connection, network status, and cloud connectivity.
Local Communication: Supports Modbus-RTU and Modbus-TCP protocols via RS485/TTL interfaces.
Plug and Play: Automatically establishes a connection with the inverter upon insertion via the HDMI port.
Remote Management: Enables remote firmware updates, parameter settings, and real-time fault alarms through the LuxPowerView App or web portal.
Multi-Device Monitoring: A single dongle can facilitate communication for up to 16 inverters in a parallel system by connecting to the host unit.
